Daikin FXAQ40ARVM wall-mounted VRV indoor unit
The FXAQ40ARVM supplies air directly into the room from a wall-mounted indoor unit. Its 4.5 kW cooling and 5 kW heating ratings provide a basis for room-load selection within an R-410A VRV system. The white casing measures 298 × 929 × 258 mm, offering a wall installation where a concealed ceiling unit is not suitable.

These figures follow the supplied engineering databook. Indoor-unit power input is separate from the power consumption of the complete VRV system. Cooling is rated at 27°C dry bulb / 19°C wet bulb indoors and 35°C dry bulb outdoors; heating at 20°C dry bulb / 15°C wet bulb indoors and 7°C dry bulb / 6°C wet bulb outdoors. Both ratings use 7.5 m equivalent piping and no height difference. Capacities include the indoor fan heat adjustment.

High and low airflow settings allow the room air supply to be adjusted. The sound-pressure figures are anechoic-chamber values measured 1 m in front of the unit and 0.8 m downward; actual operating sound depends on the room and installation. Fan motor rated output and indoor electrical power input are different quantities.

The washable filter supports routine cleaning. Use the dimensional and installation drawings to plan wall mounting, service access, refrigerant piping and drainage. The databook includes installation instructions as well as wiring diagrams, electrical characteristics and capacity tables.

Wired, wireless and central-control accessories are listed separately in the engineering databook. Select the controller and confirm the outdoor-unit combination for the project; optional control accessories are not assumed to be included. The indoor cooling and heating ratings do not establish simultaneous heating and cooling capability.
