Daikin FXSQ100A concealed ceiling VRV indoor unit
The FXSQ100A provides ducted air distribution while keeping the indoor unit concealed above the ceiling. Its 11.2 kW cooling and 12.5 kW heating ratings support selection for the room load, while adjustable external static pressure allows the duct design to be considered alongside airflow and sound. The specifications below follow the FXSQ100A2VEB model in the supplied 2021 technical databook.

External static pressure can be adjusted through a wired remote controller to suit the required supply airflow. The catalogue also describes automatic airflow adjustment. Check the fan curves against the proposed ducts and grilles; the maximum pressure figure alone does not establish the available airflow for every installation. Sound figures are manufacturer test values, and installed room acoustics will affect perceived noise.

The unit body height and built-in height describe different clearances. Allow the access, suspension, drainage and duct space shown in the dimensional and installation drawings. Rear or bottom suction can be selected to suit the layout. The standard drain pump supports flexible drainage routing within the manufacturer installation limits.
Controls and optional configurations
Wired, infrared and centralised control arrangements are listed in the databook. Multi-zoning and fresh-air intake are optional configurations, not assumed to be included with the indoor unit. Confirm the selected controller, accessories and compatible outdoor system before finalising the installation.

The 2015 catalogue includes FXSQ-A features alongside separate FBQ split-system tables; those FBQ system efficiencies do not describe this VRV indoor unit.
