Daikin FDMF24AVMK concealed ceiling ducted split
The FDMF24AVMK indoor unit pairs with the RZF24AVMK outdoor unit to provide cooling through ductwork while keeping the indoor equipment concealed above the ceiling. This R-32 inverter system offers 24,000 Btu/h nominal cooling at the catalogue’s T1 50 Hz conditions. Its inverter swing compressor adjusts output as the cooling demand changes.

Ductwork and ceiling-space planning
The indoor casing measures 300 × 1000 × 700 mm (H × W × D), with bottom or rear return-air suction for different ceiling arrangements. Rated external static pressure is 30 Pa and maximum ESP is 50 Pa. Daikin’s automatic airflow adjustment selects a fan setting to suit duct resistance during commissioning, following the installation instructions. Allow service access and assess the full duct pressure loss when designing the system.

Drainage, controls and maintenance
The series includes a built-in drain pump, with a catalogue-stated pumping height up to 1,125 mm, a washable antimicrobial filter and an antibacterial box in the drain pan. Auto-restart restores operation after a power interruption, while self-diagnosis displays error codes on the controller for servicing. Condenser blue-fin coating and protected PCB sensors form part of the stated corrosion protection.
